The standards that Rocktree sets for its operations are consistently higher than the regulations in which it operates. By raising its own standards for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ), Rocktree aims to set new guidelines and drive increasing customer expectations of safety and quality for the benefit of the dry bulk shipping market as a whole.
The company has implemented various industry leading HSEQ standards and is in compliance with ISM Code 2015, SOLAS’74, ISO 9001 2015, ISO 14001 2015 and ISO 18001 2007 / OHSAS certified by DNV-GL. Additionally, in collaboration with DNV, Rocktree developed a structured approach to vet the quality of its OFTs against a set of pre-defined, operational, technical, safety and quality parameters. The aim of the vetting program was to set a baseline for the industry and enable comparison by means of common standards.
By benchmarking our OFTs against these standards, we enable customers to monitor HSEQ performance, giving them the highest level of confidence in the operational excellence of the business.

Environment
Rocktree operates in a sustainable manner and has implemented various measures to reduce our environmental footprint, including, fuel, emissions, power and garbage monitoring and management systems. The OFTs utilize biodiesel and low sulfur fuels and are already in compliance with the IMO 2020 global sulfur cap regulations.
